Mission

The Olmsted Soccer Association (OFSA) travel soccer program's mission is to provide an opportunity for member children to play in a competitive soccer league, in an environment where they can enhance their soccer skills and understanding of the game in a sportsmanlike atmosphere.

General Information

The OFSA travel program is divided into two parts, a boy's and girl's program. Both programs are in competitive leagues where scores and standings are kept. Teams are grouped together by age, and then within age group, they are put into divisions. At the end of each season, the top teams in each division are promoted to the next higher division, and the bottom teams are relegated to the next lower division. There are two seasons every year; one in the fall and one in the spring.

The boys participate in the American Amateur Soccer League (AASL) and the girls participate in the Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League (NOGSL). These leagues have members from all over the Northern Ohio area. Since these are travel leagues, half of the games will be played at home (Schady Road Fields) and half of the games will be played at the fields of another community.
