Player Evaluations

2024 Player Evaluations Information

SAVE THE DATE!!!

For those players who aspire to play in high school or higher, the OFSA Competitive Travel Soccer Program is where the journey begins! Players will play a fall and spring season of 8 games, 4 of them being at home in Olmsted Falls, and 4 of them being games that require you to travel. At a majority of the younger age groups, travel is minimal. Typically, most games are within a 30-minute radius of Olmsted Falls. Players have the option to participate in a-la-carte winter trainings and indoor games as well to stay sharp and continue their soccer development!  OFSA’s Travel program strives to provide the next level of coaching, training, and competitive play to the young players.

OFSA Travel will be hosting placements for all age groups this spring.  These evaluations will be performed by the high school coaching staff as well as current travel coaches.  OFSA currently forms teams in accordance to US Soccer and the Ohio Travel Soccer League Communities.  Players will be broken out first by birth year starting as young as 2017 birth year followed by grade.  At this time, we are only accepting players going into the 2nd grade with a birth year as low as 2017.  It is our goal to keep grades together as much as possible.  Players that elect to try-out for the next highest birth year due to grade only, are not guaranteed placement on that higher team. This will also allow the community to get a larger number of grade level teams.

It is our goal to place every player on a team in travel, however the league is limited to max rosters. Multiple teams per age group will be formed in the case when there are enough players in an age group. If the number of players is too low for multiple teams, players will be asked to play in the recreational league for more development.  Teams are formed for two seasons, fall and spring.

Interested players are required to attend and age group evaluation session to be considered for travel soccer.  These will be held at Schady Soccer Complex
